Antolik's Hitting Helps Guide Lady Raiders to 3-0 Sweep Over Visiting Millersville

Junior middle blocker totals 14 kills and a key block solo in win

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Junior middle blocker Kali Antolik totaled 14 kills on just one error and recorded a key solo block in the third set to help propel the Lady Raider volleyball team to a 3-0 victory on Tuesday night inside Heiges Field House over visiting Millersville. The Lady Raiders defeated the Marauders 25-15, 25-19 and 25-20.

Shippensburg (13-12, 4-3 PSAC East) raced out to a 10-0 lead in the first set and never looked back en route to a 10-point victory. In the third and final set, Antolik recorded a solo block at the 20-19 mark to help the Lady Raiders close out the Marauders.

Junior Colleen Toomey totaled seven kills and 10 digs along with one service ace, while junior Hannah Sorber added six kills. Freshman Caitlin Marshall had five kills and eight digs, while fellow freshman Libby Woffindin ripped four kills and totaled two service aces.

Defensively, senior Maureen DuVall had 36 assists and seven digs while senior libero Kelsi Hoffman totaled a team-high 20 digs.

Shippensburg will host five teams this weekend at the SU Regional Crossover beginning Friday. The Lady Raiders will take on New Haven on Friday night at 7 p.m.
