LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Juniors
Colleen Toomey and
Kali Antolik each ripped five kills for the Lady Raiders, but the Shippensburg women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 road decision to Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon at Thomas Fieldhouse.
Shippensburg (18-15, 5-3 PSAC East) dropped the match by set scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-19. Senior
Kelsi Hoffman led the team with 10 digs and contributed a service ace. Senior
Maureen DuVall and freshman
Caitlin Marshall each contributed five digs.
Junior
Hannah Sorber continued some solid net play with a solo block and three block assists. Senior
Karey Toms had four kills and four digs for the Lady Raiders.
The Lady Raiders control their own destiny down the stretch. Shippensburg is in third place in the PSAC Eastern Division, one game ahead of Kutztown. The Lady Raiders travel to Kutztown next weekend before hosting East Stroudsburg on November 4. The top four teams in the Eastern Division will advance to the PSAC Tournament.
