Libby Woffindin led all players with 11 kills while senior
Kelsi Hoffman delivered five aces as the Shippensburg women's volleyball team defeated visiting Cheyney by set scores of 25-4, 25-5 and 25-9 on Tuesday night inside Heiges Field House.
Shippensburg (18-14) received a number of solid performances. Junior Jacklyn Tuccio delivered three kills and four aces, while freshman
Emily Grotzinger had two kills, three assists and a team-high six digs. Juniors
Hannah Sorber and
Colleen Toomey each played one set and totaled four kills a-piece.
The Lady Raiders finished with 18 service aces and committed just two hitting errors in the contest. The team returns to action on Saturday in a PSAC Eastern Division matchup at Lock Haven.
