MANSFIELD, Pa. - Shippensburg women's field hockey junior Laura Wylde scored a game-winning goal with 8:11 remaining in regulation to give the Lady Raiders a 3-2 victory over Mansfield in a critical PSAC Western Division contest. The win keeps Shippensburg in sole possession of second place in the division.

The Lady Raiders held a 2-1 lead at halftime thanks to an unassisted tally from freshman Kristina Taylor at 25:26.

Mansfield (6-8, 3-4 PSAC West) tied the score with less than 10 minutes to play on a goal from Rebekah Brown, but Wylde delivered her first career game-winning goal less than two minutes later off an assist from senior Dani Haas.

Defensively, junior Amanda Houser tied her season-high with nine saves to preserve the victory for the Lady Raiders. Houser also made nine saves in the 3-2 victory over No. 1 Bloomsburg on September 20.
