Biography

2007 (as a junior): Solidified her role as an extremely valuable two-way player while contributing nine goals as a defender in her third season with the Lady Raiders…ranked third on the team in goals, points (21) and shots (47) while contributing integral checks along the backline throughout the season…smashed her previous career high in goals for a season by five…netted multiple goals against Southern Connecticut State on Sep. 2 and Bloomsburg on Oct. 17…scored individual tallies against St. Michael’s, Mansfield, Millersville and IUP…recorded assists against St. Michael’s, Slippery Rock and Millersville…totaled three or more points four times during the season…contributed at least one point in eight games…named to the 2008 ZAG/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Academic Team.

2006 (as a sophomore):
Switched positions and contributed on the defensive end during sopho¬more season, but remained one of the team’s top offensive players…was limited to 17 games because of an injury…earned a starting nod in five games…totaled nine points on the season and scored two game winning goals…racked up four goals and one assist…took 17 shots and posted a .235 shot percentage…10 shots were on goal…also ranked first on the team in goals scored on penalty strokes…tallied one defensive save…came off the bench and scored on a pen¬alty stroke with 23 seconds remaining to give Ship a come-from-behind 4-3 win over Indiana (Pa.) on Sept. 9…scored a career-high two goals against Millersville on Oct. 18… 2006 National Field Hockey Coaches’ Association Division II National Academic Squad.

2005 (as a freshman):
Logged considerable minutes playing defense during freshman season…flashed potential in 16 appearances…earned two starts on the season…made first start of her career on Sept. 4 at Slippery Rock…registered four shots on the season…scored one goal…only goal of the season was a game-winner and came on a penalty stroke in the 64th minute in the 2-1 win over Mansfield on Sept. 24.
