BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - Senior Natalie Faith finished a career day by contributing to all of the scoring in a 4-0 road victory for the Shippensburg field hockey team on Saturday at C.W. Post. Faith netted her first career hat trick and also assisted on a goal from senior Dani Haas as the Lady Raiders got back in the win column.

Shippensburg (11-3) out-shot the homestanding Pioneers 12-5 and totaled 15 penalty corners in the contest. Defensively, junior goalkeeper Amanda Houser made four saves to earn her sixth shutout of the season.

Faith opened the scoring at 9:40 by re-directing a pass from senior Carolyn Swift into the right corner of the goal to give the Lady Raiders the league. Five minutes later, Faith assisted on the sixth goal of the season for Haas off a penalty corner.

In the second half, Faith ripped a shot into the cage off a pass from sophomore Amanda Strous. She capped off the scoring by jamming in a shot from in front of the cage off another assist from Swift at 62:29.

Shippensburg returns to action on Tuesday at 4 p.m. for a PSAC Western Division contest at Mansfield.
