Sage is in her second year at Shippensburg as a student-athlete wellness supporter.
She is a 2.5 year old Saint Bernard who is a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and works locally with Kindly Canines Therapy Dog group. Her mom, Miranda Fisher, is an Assistant Director of Sports Medicine at Shippensburg.
A gentle giant with a heart as big as her paws! Sage loves bringing comfort and joy to everyone she meets. With her calm demeanor and affectionate nature, Sage has a special talent for sensing when someone needs a little extra love. Sage enjoys visits with student-athletes that are completing injury rehabilitation in the athletic training room and team visits around practice time. She can be seen sporting her pearls at outdoor athletic events cheering on the Raiders. Sage also enjoys belly rubs, walks on the Rail Trail and treats.
