Rodney Weber joined the SU coaching staff in 2025. He has an extensive career in coaching that spans over 25 years.
His career began on the high school and club circuit as the head boy’s volleyball coach at Lancaster Mennonite High School, where he led the Blazers to a 1999 section title and district playoff berth. He also started Colortech Women's Volleyball Club was the head coach of the U18 team.
He served as the head women’s volleyball at Cedar Crest High School for nine seasons (2005-13) and also had a stint as head coach at Northern Lebanon.
Weber began coaching at the collegiate level in 2015, serving as an assistant coach for Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball. At PSU-Harrisburg he led individual player development and had several players finish among the league’s best in several categories.
He also coached two different AAU teams to nationals and won numerous tournaments at the national level. He has tutored players that have gone on to play at the NCAA Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 levels, including a D1 national champion.
Weber is a 1992 graduate of Cocalico High School where he played middle and made the Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star Team his senior year. He resides in Lebanon County with his wife and three children.
