Biography

2011-12 (R-Junior): Did not wrestle collegiately.

2010-11 (Junior): Transfer season…did not wrestle collegiately…competed in the U.S. Team Trials after winning the 55-kilogram (121 pound) Greco-roman title at the Northeast Super Regional competition and placing fourth at the 2011 Asics/U.S. Open….among his other Greco-roman accomplishments included a third-place finish at the NYAC International Open.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Finished second in the nation at 125 pounds while wrestling for the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown...achieved second consecutive All-American award for his finish at the national championships...named a Division III Academic All-American...posted a 25-2 overall record...won Metro Conference championship at 125 for second straight season...emerged victorious at the Messiah Invitational and the Ursinus Fall Brawl...placed third at the York Spartan Invitational...avenged his only regular season loss with a victory in the NCAA quarterfinals...amassed 11 technical fills...posted six victories by fall...served as a team captain.

2008-09 (Freshman): Achieved All-America status with a seventh-place finish at the Division III National Championships during his debut season competing for the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown...named the Metro Conference's Rookie of the Year after winning a league title at 125 pounds...won the Messiah Invitational...placed second in the York Spartan Invitational and the Pete Wilson Invitational...also finished third at the Ursinus Fall Brawl...posted nine technical falls and three victories by fall.
  
Line Mountain High School: Won a state championship at 119 pounds in his senior season with the Eagles under the direction of head coach Mike Martz...compiled 157 career victories while wrestling at 112, 119 and 125 pounds...finished seventh at 125 pounds in the state championships as a junior...qualified for the state championships as a sophomore 112-pounder...earned Northeast Region and District IV championships as a junior and a senior...achieved sectional championships as a sophomore, junior and senior...lauded all four years as a Tri-Valley League First Team wrestler, including MVP honors as a senior...hailed as a Wrestler of the Year by the News Item and Upper Dauphin Sentinel...served as a team captain during his senior year...competed for club squad Modern Day Gladiators under coach Gino Frank...also competed in track and field...graduated on the honor roll...received an honorable mention spot on the PWCA Academic Wrestling Squad.
