Biography

2008-09 (R-Junior): Made an immediate impact for the Red Raider wrestling program in his first year with the team after joining for the second semester…finished the season with a record of 15-7…tied for the team lead in falls with six…opened the year with consecutive pins at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic, where he also earned a major decision win against Kutztown’s Brett Martinez…won seven straight matches from Jan. 27-Feb. 18…recorded two victories at the Super Region I Championships, including his second victory of the season by fall over Seton Hill’s Kurt McCamley…only lost his decisions by more than two points on one occasion.

2007-08 (Junior at ESU): Did not compete.

2006-07 (Sophomore at ESU): Competed solely in tournaments and finished with a 5-4 record…totaled two pins and one technical fall to bring his career record to 27-17…opened the year with a fall in 3:02 at the East Stroudsburg Open and recorded another at the tournament in 48 seconds…also wrestled at the Southern Scuffle.

2005-06 (Freshman at ESU): Finished second at the East Stroudsburg Open, his first collegiate tournament...had a 12-3 major decision over Daniel Appello of Brown at EIWA’s...won five straight matches at the East Stroudsburg Open...ranked third on the team with 22 wins... had four pins, one technical fall and two major decisions.

Quakertown High School:
Was a four-time PIAA place-winner at Quakertown High School…his best finish was second place…set the school record for wins by compiling a 162-27 mark.

Personal: Full name is Nathan Richard Nauroth…is the son of Richard and Brenda Nauroth…born on Feb. 14, 1986…majoring in psychology.
