Luke Etter joined the Shippensburg University wrestling staff this fall and enters his first season as an assistant coach at his alma mater in 2025-26.
Etter will work alongside his former head coach, Seth Bloomquist, on the Raider sidelines.
As a collegian, Etter arrived at Shippensburg for the 2011-12 season after one year as a redshirt at Bloomsburg. From 2011-15, Etter totaled 31 victories with the Raiders spanning the 165, 174 and 184-pound weight classes. He placed sixth at the NCAA Super Region 1 Championships as a redshirt-freshman in 2012.
His prep career at Big Spring High School in Newville included 124 victories and three PIAA ‘AAA’ State Championships place-winning performances.
Outside of wrestling, Etter is the founder and chief executive officer of Advanced Solution, a trailblazer in the wound care industry. The Carlisle-based company has grown over the last four years into one of the leading dermal solutions distribution networks in the United States.
In 2021, Etter was honored as one of Pennsylvania’s Top 20 Business Professionals in their twenties.
Etter graduated from Shippensburg in 2014 with a degree in human communication studies.
