Joey Anceravage is in his fourth season on the Shippensburg University wrestling coaching staff in 2018-19. Anceravage is serving as a volunteer assistant this season after spending three years as the primary assistant coach.

Anceravage has been an integral instructor in the SU wrestling room and vital in the coaching and administration of the wrestling program. He also has worked with monitoring student-athlete academic progress.

For two years as an undergraduate student, Anceravage competed with the Raiders. In a 2007-08 redshirt season, Anceravage went 6-3 at tournament wrestling unattached with two victories by fall. As a redshirt-freshman in the 2008-09 season, Anceravage placed sixth at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at 149 pounds and posted a 6-5 overall record that included four victories by fall.

After a stint in the military, Anceravage returned to Shippensburg as a full-time student in the fall of 2016. He is majoring in criminal justice and seeking a minor in coaching.
