2009-10 (Junior): Had a breakthrough season with the Lady Raiders in the high jump and placed in five different events between the indoor and outdoor PSAC championship meets…eclipsed the school record in the high jump and competed at the NCAA indoor national championship meet…placed third in the high jump at the PSAC indoor and outdoor meets…broke the school record in the pentathlon, finishing fifth at the PSAC indoor meet…set new career bests in the shot put and the 800 meters during her multis competition…earned fourth place in the long jump and seventh place in the 100-meter hurdles at the PSAC outdoor meet…took sixth place in the 60-meter hurdles at the PSAC indoor meet.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Continued with the track and field team for her second season.
2007-08 (Freshman): Made a strong debut for the Lady Raider track and field team…earned All-PSAC honors at the conference indoor meet with a second-place finish in the triple jump…placed at the PSAC outdoor meet with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump.
Hughesville High School: Accrued eight letters with the Spartans under coach Rick Glenwright.
Personal: Full name is Rebekah Rae Newhart…is the daughter of Stephen and Mary Newhart…majoring in art…brother Ryan was a First Team All-Pennsylvania offensive guard in football.
