PSAC Championships Competition:
1-Time PSAC Placewinner
2019 Outdoor – Javelin (7th)
 
2019 Outdoor: Placed seventh in the javelin at the PSAC Championships in her debut season with the Raiders...achieved her first PSAC place-winning performance with a season-best throw of 130-6…competed in six meets.
 
Greencastle-Antrim High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Blue Devils under head coach Rich Secrest… specialized in the javelin…set two school and stadium records in the javelin…qualified for the PIAA State Championships as a senior after a second-place finish at the district championships…also earned three varsity letters in volleyball…named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) 3A All-State Team as a senior…received All-District honors as a junior and senior…selected as a three-time Mid-Penn Conference First Team All Star…was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.

About Gearhart: Full name is Keri Lauren Gearhart…is the daughter of Ricky and Deanne Gearhart…majoring in Spanish and seeking secondary teaching certification while pursuing a minor in ethnic studies…has two sisters: Kelsey Elbel and Nakita Gearhart…sister Nakita was an assistant volleyball coach for the Raiders in the 2017 season and was a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American, three-time Landmark Conference Most Valuable Player (MVP), four-time AVCA All-Region performer and four-time Landmark Conference First Team All Star at Juniata…family members Dean Gearhart (’58), Darren Negley (’07) and Michelle Wenger (’15) are SU graduates.
 
* Keri competed in 18 matches for the SU volleyball team in 2019 and in 33 matches for the Mary Washington volleyball team in 2018. She transferred to Shippensburg for the 2019 spring semester.
