2024 (Freshman): Competed in seven meets…qualified for the PSAC Championships in the discus…threw the discus six times (season best of 121 feet, 10 inches [37.13 meters]), the hammer four times (season best of 115 feet, 7 inches [35.24 meters] and the javelin five times (season best of 94 feet, 3 inches [28.73 meters]).

Fort Hill High School: Totaled three varsity letters for the Sentinels under head coach Sarah Bennett…2022 Maryland State Champion in the discus throw…state runner-up in 2023… ranked seventh in her class with a 4.2 GPA…Principal’s Honor Roll…a member of the National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society, National Science Honor Society Honor Roll and Rho Kappa…also lettered in basketball and soccer…is an accomplished basketball player…named 2022 Girl’s Basketball WestMAC Player of the Year…All Area 2022-23…All-City 2022-23…All-WestMAC 2022-23…Averaged 13.5 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior.
About Bennett: Full name is Carly Catherine Bennett…is the daughter of Jason and Sarah Bennett…a member of the Wood Honors College…has three sisters: Ryann, Ella and Cassidy…sister Ryann is a thrower at James Madison University…mother Sarah competed in shot put at UMBC...majoring in criminal justice.
