2012-13 (Sophomore): Continued her excellence in the 400 meters for the Raiders in her second season with the team…contributed to a PSAC outdoor championship in the 4x400-meter relay and a second-place effort on the indoor 4x4 squad…posted a fourth-place indoor finish and a sixth-place outdoor finish in the 400 meters at the PSAC Championships…achieved her first sub-57-second time with an outdoor collegiate best at the Paul Kaiser Classic.
2011-12 (Freshman): Posted PSAC place-winning performances in the 400 meters in both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Raiders during her debut season…placed fifth indoors and seventh outdoors…ran the opening leg of the outdoor 4x400-meter relay that placed second.
Central York High School: Was a district medalist in the 400 meters while competing with the Panthers under coach Christopher Detwiler...earned four varsity letters in track, two in field hockey and two in cheerleading...also participated in basketball.
Personal: Full name is Briana Shy-Anne Fells…is the daughter of Monica Fells...majoring in social work...has three siblings, Parrish, Marquis and De Jane’e…Marquis is a freshman on the SU football team and Parrish played football at Kutztown.
