Shippensburg University Athletics

2017-18 (Junior): Ranked second on the team in singles victories in her third season, competing in 19 singles matches and 20 doubles matches for the year…competed at four different singles flights, working primarily at No. 3 singles…won at No. 1 singles against Shepherd, No. 2 singles against Holy Family and No. 3 singles against Shenandoah…posted victories in doubles against Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg in tournament competition and at No. 2 doubles against Holt Family.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Tied for the team lead in singles victories in her second season with the Raiders…posted five wins in singles competition and five wins in doubles competition on the year…notched wins in singles matches against competitors from East Stroudsburg, Clarion, Susquehanna and Kutztown…contributed to four victories in dual meets at No. 2 doubles, including wins against opponents from Clarion, Fairmont State, Susquehanna and Kutztown…competed 15 times overall in singles, including seven times at No. 4 singles in dual meets and six times at No. 5 singles in dual meets…also notched a doubles win in tournament competition over players from Daemen.
 
2015-16 (Freshman): Participated primarily in doubles in her debut season with the Raiders…competed three times in singles matches and 12 times in doubles matches…notched four wins in doubles, including three in PSAC dual meets…contributed to a win at No. 2 doubles versus Cheyney and wins at No. 3 doubles against East Stroudsburg, Kutztown and Shenandoah…earned a singles victory in tournament competition against an East Stroudsburg player.
 
Hollidaysburg High School: Earned four varsity letters as a Tiger under Coach Dennis...played doubles for Hollidaysburg...also competed in track...helped Hollidaysburg to district tennis title in freshman, sophomore and junior years.

About Gallagher: Full name is Kaylin Marie Gallagher...is the daughter of Rick and Elaine Gallagher...majoring in marketing...has two brothers, Jacob and Trent, and a sister, Rachel...father, Rick ’88 and mother, Elaine ’89 graduated from SU.
