2021-22 (Senior): Became the first Raider tennis player named to the all-conference team in a decade...played primarily at No. 1 singles and had a 6-2 spring record, going 4-2 in PSAC East play....totaled the most wins by an SU player in seven years...recorded PSAC Eastern Division victories at No. 1 singles over opponents from Kutztown, East Stroudsburg, Shepherd and Lock Haven...won a three-set marathon at No. 1 singles against Seton Hill...combined with partners Jazmin Petrantonio and Merel Hoekstra for five doubles victories...became the first dual-sport athlete in school history named to the Academic All-America ® At-Large Second Team for her combined efforts in tennis and field hockey.
2020-21 (Junior): Competed in five singles matches and five doubles matches in her second season with the team…worked primarily at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles…won two singles matches at No. 2 against a competitor from Bloomsburg and a competitor from Lock Haven…won a doubles match with teammate Skylar Walder at No. 1 against Kutztown…contributed to team’s win against Lock Haven playing No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles.
2019-20 (Sophomore): Joined the tennis team during the second semester and emerged as a top singles and doubles player…competed in three singles matches and four doubles matches…worked primarily at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles…won a match at No. 2 singles against a competitor from Immaculata…contributed to a win at No. 1 doubles against Winona State…took to the court twice at No. 2 singles and once at No. 1 singles.
2018-19 (Freshman): Was not a member of the tennis team…named to the NFHCA All-America Second Team and All-PSAC Second Team as a member of the SU field hockey team.
Haarlemmermeer Lyceum, Hoofddorp: Competed at the club level…specialized in field hockey as a club player with MHC Bennebroek MA1…played both attack and defense…tallied 26 goals in 33 matches during her final season in Holland…was the top goal-scorer on the first girls U18 team.
About Sluymer: Full name is Jenna Beaudine Sluijmer…is the daughter of W.A. Sluijmer and S.K. Sluijmer-van de Beld…majoring in management, concentrating in international management…has a brother, Boyd, and a sister, Jill.
