2022-23 (Junior): Competed in 11 singles matches and 11 doubles matches for the Raiders...worked primarily as the team’s No. 2 singles player during the fall season and No. 4 singles player during the spring season...was in the team’s primary No. 2 doubles pairing throughout both seasons...won a total of eight matches, five singles and three doubles matches...had a three match conference winning streak against Lock Haven, East Stroudsburg and Shepherd.
 
2021-22 (Sophomore): Competed in all 15 singles matches and seven doubles matches for the Raiders…worked primarily as the team’s No. 3 singles player during the fall season and the team’s primary No. 2 singles players during the spring season…won three singles matches, including a conference win over East Stroudsburg.
 
2020-21 (Freshman): Competed in five singles matches and five doubles matches for the Raiders in her debut season…worked primarily as the team’s No. 3 singles player and in the team’s primary No. 2 doubles pairing…won a singles match in three sets against a competitor from Lock Haven…took to the court two times at No. 3 doubles.
 
Hempfield High School: Played at the varsity level for the Black Knights under head coach Mindi Bell…combined 18 victories as a senior spanning singles and doubles competition…was a four-year honor roll student who maintained a 3.9 GPA as a senior…was a three-year member of the National Art Honor Society.
 
About Cantwell: Full name is Brighid Anya Cantwell…is the daughter of John and Michelle Cantwell…majoring in biology while seeking a minor in chemistry...has two sisters: Tierney and Rory.
