2016-17 (Sophomore): Re-wrote the record books and made an immediate impact in a phenomenal debut season with the Raiders…completed a tremendous PSAC Championships debut meet as the conference champion in the 200-yard IM and the 400-yard IM while placing seventh in the 100-yard backstroke and 12th in the 200-yard backstroke…contributed to an All-PSAC third-place finish with the 400-yard medley relay at the PSAC Championships…finished fourth with the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay at the PSAC Championships…set seven individual school records during the season: 100 Freestyle (51.21), 100 Backstroke (57.72), 200 Breaststroke (2:17.83), 100 Butterfly (55.74), 200 IM (2:01.61) and 400 IM (4:24.25) and also with one relay (400 Medley – 3:52.17)…named PSAC Swimmer of the Week and collegeswimming.com Swimmer of the Week on November 22 after a weekend at the Patriot Invitational in which she set six school records out of a total of eight swims…broke her first school record (400 IM) at Clarion, a rare accomplishment to do so in a dual meet…posted NCAA ‘B’ cuts in the 50 freestyle (66th in D2), 100 freestyle (43rd in D2), 500 freestyle (85th in D2), 100-yard breaststroke (48th in D2), 200-yard breaststroke (27th in D2), 100-yard butterfly (32nd in D2), 200-yard IM (13th in D2) and 400-yard IM (18th in D2).
2013-14 (Freshman): Competed for the Rockets at the University of Toledo...swam in dual meets against Ball State and Michigan and at Akron’s Zippy Invitational.
Butler High School: Earned a varsity letter with the Generals and coach Dave Bocci…qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in three events, excelling with outstanding performances at the Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Athletic League (WPIAL) Championships…posted notable performances in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, the 100 butterfly, and the 200 and 400 IM…recorded marks at the time that ranked Top 20 in the USA and Top 100 in the world for the 200 IM…spent her first three high school seasons at Towson High School outside of Baltimore.
About O’Toole: Full name is Stephanie Rose O’Toole…is the son of Tim and Aleida O’Toole…majoring in Spanish...has a brother, Patrick, who swam at Washington & Jefferson…father exceled as a swimmer for the Butler YMCA.
