2020-21 (Sophomore): Posted three individual scoring performances at the PSAC Championships in her second season with the Raiders…placed 19th in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke at the conference meet…scored in the 200-yard backstroke at the conference meet…represented the Raiders in the 500-yard freestyle at the PSAC Championships.
2019-20 (Freshman): Posted three individual scoring performances at the PSAC Championships in her debut season…qualified for the ‘C’ finals of the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and 400-yard IM at the conference meet…represented the Raiders in the 200-yard IM at the PSAC Championships…contributed to a pair of scoring medley relays at the PSAC Championships…recorded the team’s third-fastest time of the season in the 500-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke and the team’s fourth-fastest times of the season in the 1000-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly and 400-yard IM.
Clarksburg High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Coyotes under head coach Emily Demarest…competed on the club level with Rockville Montgomery Swim Club for coach Ryan Yuen…was a two-time Maryland State Championships place-winner in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing 16th as a senior and ninth as a junior…finished as a four-time state championships qualifier…also qualified for the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Championship (WMIC) in each of her four high-school seasons…served as the vice president of her school’s chapter of the National Honor Society…was an honor roll student and a member of the Science National Honor Society.
About Kapoor: Full name is Manisha Newton Anand Kapoor…is the daughter of Munish and Tammie Kapoor…majoring in biology with a health professional/pre-med concentration while seeking a minor in biochemistry.
