Biography
2006-07 (as a junior): Recorded the team’s top finishes in the 200 free and improved upon career-best times in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly while posting the team’s third fastest times in the 50 and 100 free ranking 6th and 10th all-time…competed in the 50 and 100 freestyles at the NCAA National Championships and was an integral member of the Lady Raider relay teams that combined for five Honorable Mention All-America awards at the NCAA Championships and a part of the school record setting 200 medley relay team.
2005-06 (as a sophomore): Served as a key member to the five relay teams (200 free, 400 free, 800 free, 200 medley and 400 medley) that captured Honorable Mention All-America honors at the NCAA Championships…helped 200 free relay team to a 4th place finish at the PSAC Championships…400 free relay team earned a 6th place finish…placed 10th at the PSAC Championships with a time of 1:01.29 in the 100 fly.
2004-05 (as a freshman): Proved to be strong butterfly swimmer and valuable to several relay teams with effective performances at PSAC Championships…placed 16th in 200 butterfly with a time of 2:18.16…grabbed ninth in the 100 butterfly with time of 1:00.69…swam opening leg for 200 free relay that placed ninth…400 free relay team placed seventh…helped 200 medley relay squad to a third-place finish.
Personal: Full name is Kelcie Baber…is the daughter of Robert and Sandy Baber… born on March 17, 1986 …is majoring in marketing.
