2012-13 (Junior): Earned NCAA All-America honors in the 50 freestyle with an eighth-place finish to cap off a memorable third season with the Raiders…won her first individual PSAC Championship in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.45 seconds after breaking her own school record during prelims with a time of 23.36 seconds…placed eighth in the 100 freestyle and 10th in the 200 freestyle at the conference championships, continuing her run of consecutive years placing in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle at the PSAC meet…contributed to Top-5 finishes in all three freestyle relays and the 400 medley relay at the conference championships, including an All-PSAC (third place) turn with the 800 freestyle relay…also represented the Raiders at the NCAA championships in the 100 and 200 freestyle…swam in non-freestyle events at invitational meets during the season, particularly individual medley competition…paced SU in the three short freestyle distances while ranking third among SU swimmers in the 200 IM and fourth in the 100 butterfly…notched her season best in the 100 freestyle at the NCAA Championships and in the 200 freestyle at the Patriot Invitational.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Finished a stellar second season with the Raiders… at the PSAC Championships, took third place in the 50-yard freestyle with a personal-best 23.60 and fifth place in the 100-yard freestyle with a 52.23…swam the anchor leg in the 800-yard freestyle relay that won the PSAC title and finished 10th at the NCAA Championships with a school-record time of 7:34.62…also swam in three other place-winning relay teams at the PSAC championships: 200-yard freestyle relay (2nd), 400-yard freestyle relay (4th) and the 200-yard medley relay (5th)…improved her school record in the 100-yard freestyle with a 51.65 at the NCAA Championships that placed her 19th…part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that earned an honorable mention All-America performance (13th) at the NCAA Championships with the second-fastest time in school history (3:29.84)…member of 200-yard freestyle relay team that also earned honorable mention All-America…individually at the NCAA Championships, finished 32nd with a 24.16 in the 50-yard freestyle and 40th with a 1:55.42 in the 200-yard freestyle (the second-best time for any Raider in the event that season)…also swam the second-best times for the Raiders in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.97 at the Navy Invitational), the 200-yard IM (2:12.27 at the Zippy Invitational) and the 200-yard freestyle (personal-best 1:53.48 at the PSAC Championships)…swam the fourth-best time on the season in the 100-yard butterfly with a 1:00.33 at the Patriot Invitational.

2010-11 (Freshman): Completed an outstanding rookie season with Shippensburg…broke the 17-year-old school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.80 seconds at the Patriot Invitational and nearly broke the school record in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.05 seconds at the same meet…scored three times individually at the PSAC Championships and four more times with relay squads…placed seventh in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.47…her qualifying time of 1:55.94 ranks eighth-fastest in school history…finished eighth in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events…contributed to the 200-yard freestyle relay that placed third, the 800-yard freestyle relay that placed fifth, the 400-yard freestyle relay that placed seventh and the 400-yard medley relay that placed 10th…swam the final leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay squad that broke the school record in a time trial at the PSAC meet with a time of 1:35.28…earned honorable mention All-America honors at the NCAA Championships with a 13th-place finish on the 800-yard freestyle relay squad with a terrific split time of 1:52.82…also achieved honorable mention All-America honors with a 16th-place finish on the 400-yard freestyle relay squad…individually competed in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Championships…ranked second in SU history for the 100-yard freestyle and eighth for the 200-yard freestyle.

Dallastown High School: Lettered in swimming and soccer for the Wildcats…coached by Richard Howley…thrived in the 50 free (23.99) and the 100 free (53.39) as a senior…graduated as a four-year member of the honor roll.

Personal: Full name is Julie Elizabeth Brown…is the daughter of Bruce and Lori Brown… majoring in midlevel education for grades 4-8 with a focus on science and language arts…has a brother, Trevor, who competes with the Wildcat Swim Club.
