Alyssa Brown is in her first season as the assistant swimming coach for the Raiders in 2026-27.

Brown completed her collegiate swimming career last season as a graduate transfer with the Raiders after spending her first three seasons with the Warriors of East Stroudsburg. At the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, Brown achieved new personal bests in each of the four freestyle events in which she competed – the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.56), the 500-yard freestyle (5:27.72), the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:12.11) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:49.25).
 
Overall, Brown was a two-time PSAC Championships place-winner: finishing 22nd in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 2026 and 18th in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 2025.
 
A native of Shippensburg and an alumna of Shippensburg Area Senior High School, Brown was a team captain and a PIAA District III Championships medalist with the Greyhounds who contributed to a pair of Mid-Penn Colonial Division titles.
 
Brown has worked as a youth swim coach for several years. A USA Swimming coach, she is currently an instructor at the Shippensburg Aquatic Club.
 
In addition to her role as the assistant swimming coach, Brown will also continue in her role as a graduate assistant in the Kathryn Hughes Seaber Raiders Academic Center (RAC) while pursuing her master's degree in biology. At the RAC, Brown provides regular assistance to interim director Cassie Morrow '12/'14M in the form of academic advising, peer mentorship, tutoring, scheduling assistance and more.
 
Brown earned her undergraduate degree in biology from East Stroudsburg in May 2025.
