2012-13 (Junior): Continued to swim for the Raiders in a variety of butterfly and freestyle events…set a new 100 butterfly personal best at the Bison Invitational to close her season…established a new personal best in the 100 freestyle at the Bomber Invitational.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Debuted with the Raiders in competition as a backstroke and freestyle swimmer…established her PR in the 100 butterfly at the Zippy Invitational…also recorded a PR in the 100 freestyle at the Zippy Invitational…recorded a PR in the 50 freestyle at the Patriot Invitational.
2010-11 (Freshman): Spent the fall semester at Elizabethtown College and transferred to Shippensburg in the spring semester.
Chambersburg Area Senior High School: Earned four varsity letters for the Trojans under head coach Donald Miller…qualified for districts each year…team captain as a senior…received the Perseverance Award as a senior…competed for club team Chambersburg Chargers under head coach Chris Chance…also played volleyball…member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Full name is Chelsey Lauren Michael…is the daughter of Eric and Sharon Michael…majoring in exercise science…father, Eric, attended Shippensburg.
