Jasmin Lalin enters her first year as an assistant director of sports medicine in 2022-23 and her 2nd year overall as a member of the Shippensburg University sports medicine staff.
Lalin returns to SU after serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Franklin & Marshall College since August 2019 and was the head football athletic trainer and primary contact women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, men and women’s squash and men and women rowing. Lalin completed her senior internship at Shippensburg in Spring 2017 and later served as Temporary Assistant Director of Sports Medicine back in the Fall of 2018. Â
Lalin is a nationally board-certified athletic trainer with licenses in Pennsylvania and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association (EATA) and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers' Society (PATS).
Prior to F&M, Lalin was at Delaware State University, where her primary sport responsibilities were softball and women’s lacrosse.

During her time at Shippensburg as temporary assistant director, her main sports responsibilities were men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, softball and tennis.

Prior to Franklin & Marshall and Shippensburg, Lalin spent one year at Edinboro University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer, where she obtained her NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification along with her certification as a NASE Level II Speed Specialist. Her primary sport responsibilities were volleyball and lacrosse, and she assisted with men’s and women’s basketball. Â

Lalin is a member of the NATA Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee and received the committees’ Pay It Forward grant in October 2017. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Lalin earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Lock Haven University in 2017. In Winter 2018, Lalin earned her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science and Sport Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania.

A native of Poconos, Lalin currently resides in Lancaster.
