2022 (Junior): Saw action in six games…lone start came in Raiders’ 2-1 win over St. Thomas Aquinas Oct. 17.
2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in five games for the Raiders as a reserve in her debut season.
2020 (Freshman): No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Old Mill Senior High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Patriots under head coaches Lauren Carrier and Tim Carrier…competed at the club level with Pipeline 02 Black under coach Geoff Bowman…named an All-Anne Arundel County Senior All Star…served as a senior team captain…scored four goals and had two assists as a senior…participated in the Athletic Leadership Council…was a member of the Principal’s Honor Roll…ranked among the Top 25 percent of her graduating class as an honor-roll student…amassed 10 varsity letters overall including three in outdoor track & field and three in indoor track & field.
About McDermott: Full name is Madelyn Grace McDermott…is the daughter of Daniel and Susan McDermott…majoring in exercise science with a pre-athletic training concentration…has two sisters, Lauren McDermott and Ashley Kampel.
