Shippensburg University Athletics

2014 (Sophomore): Appeared off the bench in six games throughout the season for the Raiders in her second year with the team…worked as a defender… contributed to a team defense that set a school record in allowing just 14 goals in 17 games, including just nine goals in the final 16 games.

2013 (Freshman): Played in 10 games for the Raiders during her debut season…worked as a defender…made starts in conference contests against Mansfield and Millersville.
 
Briar Woods High School: Garnered three varsity letters with for the Falcons under head coach Ann Vierkorn…named 2010 Defensive Player of the Year…competed at the club level with Loudoun 95 Red under head coach Randy May…also ran cross country.
 
About Basso: Full name is Leah Alexa Basso…is the daughter of Thomas and Gayle Basso…majoring in early childhood elementary education…has two brothers, Tyler and Travis…Tyler played baseball for SU in 2012.
