Courtney Merwin has joined the Shippensburg University women’s soccer coaching staff for the 2018 season and will serve as a student assistant coach.
Merwin was a goalkeeper on the SU women’s soccer team for two seasons. After red-shirting in 2016, Merwin played in three games in the 2017 season. She made 15 saves in 239 minutes, posting a .714 save percentage and a 1-2 overall record. Merwin recorded a shutout in a road victory at Chestnut Hill.
A native of Waldorf, Md., Merwin is majoring in biology, concentrating in pre-med.
