Shippensburg University Athletics

2014 (Junior): Finished her third season with the Raiders ranked second in points, transitioning to an attacking midfield role…played in 16 of the team’s 17 games, making 11 starts (including the final six games of the season)…scored goals in back-to-back games against Lock Haven and Bloomsburg…assisted on two goals in a 3-0 road win at Pitt-Johnstown…totaled 10 shots on the year, including nine on goal.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Continued to serve as a valuable midfield and defensive player for the Raiders in her second season…appeared in 14 contests for the second straight season…made four starts, including both of the team’s NCAA Tournament games…scored her first career goal in the NCAA First Round match against Edinboro, the game-winner in a 1-0 victory, marking SU’s first-ever NCAA Tournament tally…assisted on a golden goal in a 1-0 regular-season victory at Bloomsburg.
 
2012 (Freshman): Earned playing time as a reserve in her first season with the Raiders…primarily worked in the midfield…played in 14 games…had five shots on goal.
 
Pennridge High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Rams under head coach Jorge Rodriguez…part of 2009 and 2011 District Championship teams…Rams reached the state finals as a senior in 2011…was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman…played for the Bucks-Mont United club team under head coach Ray Hess…was a member of the National Honors Society…Also competed in tennis.

About Sheehan: Full name is Caitlin Elizabeth Sheehan…is the daughter of Kevin and Karen Sheehan…majoring in psychology while seeking a minor in gerontology…has a sister, Lindsay, who is a teammate.
