Shippensburg University Athletics

2024 (Freshman): Emerged as key member of the SU backline during her debut season…appeared in 16 total games, including 14 starts as a central defender…aided an SU defense that earned three clean sheets…played a major role in the Raiders finishing with a 5-6-5 record in conference, its second most points (20) in PSAC play since the 2016 season…registered  shot on goal in a 1-0 victory over Lock Haven (Oct. 2)…tallied her first collegiate assist on the Raiders’ only goal in a 1-1 draw against East Stroudsburg (Oct. 5).
 
Linganore High School: Totaled three varsity letters for the Lancers…competed at the club level for FC Frederick under head coach Chuck Hommey…team captain…a two-time All-Frederick County selection, including Second Team as a senior…also lettered in basketball…honor roll student…a member of class council and the National Honor Society.
 
About Spelman: Full name is Cailin Spelman…is the daughter of Tim and Stacy Spelman…has two sisters, Courtney and Lauren; and a brother, Timmy.
