2012 (Junior): Selected to the 2012-13 Capital One Academic All-District 2 Team, her second consecutive academic honor, after another productive year up top for the Raiders…played in all 18 games, making 14 starts…finished third on the Raiders with seven points – matching her single-season career high set as a freshman...scored a career-high three goals – including game-winners against Clarion and Mansfield…recorded an assist at Mercyhurst…fired 18 shots on goal.

2011 (Sophomore): Emerged as a valuable asset in her second season as a Raider…appeared in every game and started nine…third on the team with four points…scored two goals, including an equalizer against IUP and a header against Mansfield…registered four shots against Edinboro…one of just four Raiders to score multiple goals on the season…named to the 2011-12 Capital One Academic All-District Team.

2010 (Freshman): Performed admirably in her debut season with Shippenburg…appeared in 18 of the team’s 19 games…scored two goals…was one of just three players on the team with three or more assists…contributed points in five different games…scored a goal in the season opening win over Charleston (W.Va.)…added another tally against Millersville…provided assists against Slippery Rock, Davis & Elkins and Mansfield…recorded six shots on goal.

Penn Manor High School: Team captain who helped William Zapata’s Comets to a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section I championship and a runner-up finish in the league playoffs during the 2007 season…also played for Rage United and City Islanders club teams…also played basketball for four seasons at Penn Manor and was a team captain during the 2009-2010 season…teammates with fellow Lady Raider soccer recruit Brittany Lapp as a Comet…excelled in the classroom as a member of Penn Manor’s National Honors Society…served as a placekicker for the football team during her senior season, kicking field goals and extra points.

Personal: Full name is Ashley Lauren Vellucci…is the daughter of Ron Vellucci and Karen Frey…majoring in psychology…Ron graduated from Shippensburg in 1982.
