Shippensburg University Athletics

2014 (Junior): Continued to impress as she led the team with a career-high 40 goals in 16 games…her 2.5 goals per game ranked in the PSAC Top 20…scored at least one goal in all 16 games she played; her 40 tallies are the most by a Raider in seven years…contributed nine assists and led the team with 49 points…scored game-winning goals against Merrimack and Millersville…recorded 10 multi-goal games (most on the team)…tallied at least one point in each of her appearances and at least four points seven times… recorded seven hat tricks…totaled a career-high five goals at Pfeiffer…finished with four goals and one assist in a 17-16 victory over Slippery Rock…scored four goals in an 8-6 win over Merrimack and four goals in the season finale against Mercyhurst…totaled 11 ground balls, six draw controls and six caused turnovers.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Finished tied for the third-highest goal total on the team…played in all 17 games, including 16 starts…totaled 24 goals and 10 assists (second on the team)…finished third on the team with 34 points…had 14 games with at least one goal (tied for most on the team)…recorded at least one point in all but two games and had 11 multi-point games…scored hat tricks against Gannon and East Stroudsburg…recorded 18 ground balls, eight draw controls and six caused turnovers.
 
2012 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact in her debut season with the Raiders…tied for sixth on the team with 16 goals, scoring on more than half of her shots…registered a career-high four goals against Gannon…had a hat trick against IUP…also had multiple goals against Shepherd and Georgian Court…posted at least one point in 11 games and at least one goal in nine games…managed three assists…registered 10 groundball pickups.
 
Archbishop Carroll High School: Played for the Patriots under head coach Loraine Beers…earned two varsity letters…helped her team win their 10th straight Catholic League Championship as a junior…competed at the club level with Phantastix under coach JoAnn Yusko…graduated with second honors.
 
About Johnson: Full name is Sheila Mary Johnson…is the daughter of Jim and Denise Johnson…majoring in communication/journalism, concentrating in public relations, while seeking a minor in technical/professional communications…has a sister, Monica, who played four years of lacrosse at Monmouth, and a brother, Edward, who played golf for four years at LaSalle.
