Biography

2016 (Sophomore): Started all 16 games as a top-of-the-line defender for the Raiders…ranked second on the team with a career-high 37 groundballs, including a career-high six at Slippery Rock…collected multiple groundballs in nine games...recorded 16 caused turnovers, third-most on the team, including a season-high four versus Gannon…credited with just nine turnovers in 16 games.
 
2015 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact as a defender, starting 14 games in her debut season…ranked second on the team with 14 caused turnovers, including a season-high three versus IUP and Chestnut Hill…finished third on the team with 32 groundballs, collecting a season-high five against IUP and Chestnut Hill and multiple groundballs on nine occasions…missed final three games due to injury.
 
New Egypt High School: Exceled as a three-sport star for the Warriors…totaled four varsity letters in lacrosse for coach Katie Sawicki…also earned three varsity letters in both field hockey and basketball…recognized twice in field hockey with All-Conference plaudits…played at the club level with Ultimate Lacrosse.
 
About Magnotta: Full name is Makenzie Grace Magnotta…is the daughter of Steven and Lisa Magnotta…majoring in exercise science…has three siblings, Payton, John and Alexa – who plays field hockey at TCNJ.
