Biography
2013 (Junior): Made appearances in 13 of the team’s 17 contests, including two starts…registered nine ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw control.
2012 (Sophomore): Played in 14 of the team’s 17 games during her second season with the Raiders…served primarily as a defender…registered three groundballs and a caused turnover…
2011 (Freshman): Made five appearances in her debut season with the Raiders as a midfielder or defensive player…recorded one groundball pickup.
State College High School: Earned two letters under head coach Melissa Aukerman and the Little Lions of State College…named a CSGLL First Team All-Star at midfield in 2010 and Second Team at the same position in 2009…led State College to a 16-3 record and the second round of the PIAA playoffs in the lacrosse program’s second year of existence in the PIAA…also played field hockey and ran cross country.
Personal: Full name is Kayla Ann Weaver…is the daughter of Chris Weaver and Rebecca Corum-Weaver…majoring in biology, concentrating on pre-physical therapy, and seeking a minor in psychology…has a sibling, Jordan.
