Shippensburg University Athletics

2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in 14 of the team’s 16 games during her second season as a midfielder…tallied five shots on the year…raised her single-season bests to five groundballs and four draw controls…recorded one caused turnover…worked off the bench in all but two conference contests.
 
2015 (Freshman): Played in nine games for the Raiders during her debut season, working primarily as a midfielder…recorded three groundballs, two draw controls and one caused turnover…worked off the bench in five conference contests.
 
Chapin High School: Earned multiple varsity letters with the Eagles playing for her father, coach Jeff Mirgon…named the 2013 Regional Player of the Year and was a runner-up for the Lower State Midfielder of the Year…honored twice with All-State selections…recognized three times with All-Region honors…amassed 148 goals, 46 assists, 377 groundballs and 50 draw controls through three years…competed at the club level with Midwestern Force/Southern Storm for coach Lisa Michelitis…also competed in cross country and track & field…was a member of the 90 Average Honor Roll, National Honor Society and Beta Club.
 
About Mirgon: Full name is Kathleen Lucile Mirgon…is the daughter of Jeff and Diana Mirgon…majoring in communication/journalism, concentrating in public relations, while seeking minors in coaching and exercise science…has two brothers, Ross and Grant.
