Shippensburg University Athletics

2016 (Junior): Appeared in all 16 games on defense, making 15 starts, in her second season with the lacrosse team…finished seventh on the team with a career-high 27 groundballs, including a career single-match best six versus Gannon…collected multiple groundballs in seven games…tallied seven caused turnovers and one draw control. 
 
2015 (Sophomore): Started all 17 games on defense for the Raiders in her debut lacrosse season…was one of just six players to start every game…ranked fourth on the team with 25 groundballs, including a season-high five versus Shepherd…collected multiple groundballs in eight games…recorded six draw controls, four draw controls…registered one assist in a loss to West Chester.
 
2014 (Freshman): Did not play lacrosse. Appeared in 10 games as a reserve defender for the Shippensburg field hockey team.
 
Polytech High School: Earned varsity letters in lacrosse and field hockey for the panthers…in field hockey, earned All-Delaware Second Team Honors and All-Henlopen Conference First Team honors as a senior…field hockey squad reached state semifinals as a senior…played field hockey on the club level with Oranje: Gotta Luv It! under coach Kathleen Fluharty…was a DIAA Scholar Athlete…boasted significant academic honors upon graduation, including being a member of the principals honor roll and high honor roll and receiving a Masters of Technology diploma.
 
About Wise: Full name is Julia Kate Wise…is the daughter of Todd and Shelly Wise…majoring in exercise science…has a sister, Jessica.
