Biography

2014 (Junior): Led the team and ranked 12th in the PSAC with a career-high 21 assists…finished third on the team with 20 goals…her 41 points ranked second on the team…started all 17 games…recorded five multi-assist games (most on the team)…recorded four multi-goal performances including a five-goal display in a 13-10 victory over East Stroudsburg…tallied at least one point in all but one game…totaled four assists in a season-opening 14-11 victory at Shepherd…recorded two goals and three assists in a 17-16 victory over Slippery Rock…totaled 25 groundballs, 10 draw controls and five caused turnovers.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Earned All-PSAC Third Team honors…led the team with 31 goals, while ranking second with 40 points and third with nine assists…started all 17 games…managed a point in every game, including 14 multi-point games (tied for most on the team)…recorded career highs in goals (six) and points (seven) in a 13-8 win over Gannon…also scored five goals in a 16-10 victory over Slippery Rock…finished with 10 multi-goal games (most on the team)…had 14 games with at least one goal (tied for most on the team)…finished with 27 ground balls, 12 draw controls and nine caused turnovers.
 
2012 (Freshman): Ranked third on the team with 26 goals and fifth with eight assists in her debut season with the Raiders…scored a season-high four goals in victories over Shepherd and Millersville…picked up a season-high five points against the Marauders…notched multiple goals against West Virginia Wesleyan, Wheeling Jesuit, Edinboro, Slippery Rock, Kutztown, Mercyhurst…managed at least one point in 14 games and had an 11-game goal scoring streak…tied for third on the team with 25 groundball pickups…recorded 14 draw controls and eight caused turnovers.
 
Springfield High School: Earned four varsity letters with the Cougars under head coach Keith Broome…totaled 132 career goals, including 62 in her senior season…tallied 67 career assists…was an active contributor with 89 draw controls…teams reached the state semifinals as a senior and state championship game as a junior…won District AA championships as a freshman and sophomore…competed at the club level with Phantastix under coach JoAnn Yusko…also earned two varsity letters as a swimmer.
 
About Kennedy: Full name is Courtney Ann Kennedy…is the daughter of Jim and Teresa Kennedy…majoring in sociology…has a sister, Lindsey ’13, who played two years with Courtney and holds the SU records for single-game and career assists.
