2023 (Freshman): Competed in seven meets…qualified for the PSAC Championships in the shot put…threw the shot seven times (season best of 40 feet, 8 ¾ inches [12.41 meters]) and the weight three times (season best of 37 feet, 9 ½ inches [11.52 meters]).

2023 (Freshman): Competed in seven meets…qualified for the PSAC Championships in the shot and the discus…threw the shot seven times (season best of 41 feet, 8 inches [12.70 meters]), the discus six times (season best of 120 feet, 6 inches [36.73 meters]) and the hammer four times (season best of 115 feet, 7 inches [35.24 meters]).
St. Mary’s Area High School: Totaled three varsity letters for the Lady Dutch…is a two-time District 9 shot put and discus champion…placed third in the shot put at states as a senior…twice named the team’s Most Valuable Player…contributed to two District 9 team titles…holds the school record in both the shot put and the discus.
About Bauer: Full name is Payton Bauer…is the daughter of Daryl and Erica Bauer…has a twin brother, Daulton; and an older sister, Marlee…brother also attends Shippensburg...majoring in mechanical engineering.
