PSAC Championships Competition:
1-Time PSAC Placewinner (1x – Relay)
2020 Indoor – 4x8 (5th)
2020 Indoor: Contributed to a fifth-place finish with the 4x800-meter relay at the PSAC Championships to cap her debut season…ran season bests in the 800 meters and the 1,000 meters at VMI…participated in three meets.
2019 Cross Country: Served as a regular in her debut season…finished as a scoring runner on four occasions…was the team’s No. 4 scoring runner at the PSAC Championships after turns as the team’s No. 3 runner at the Lock Haven Invitational and the Paul Short Run…represented the Raiders at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships as the team’s No. 6 runner…posted a Top-20 finish as the team’s No. 2 runner at the season-opening Piper Alumni Open…participated in five meets.
Greensburg-Salem High School: Totaled seven varsity letters spanning cross country and track & field for the Golden Lions under head coach Nathan Snider…qualified for the 2018 PIAA State Cross Country Championships and the 2019 indoor state track & field championships as an 800-meter runner…contributed to a sixth-place finish at the indoor championships with her school’s 4x800-meter relay…participated in three PIAA Outdoor Championships with her school’s 4x800-meter relay…was a three-time district championships qualifier in the 800 meters.
About Murtland: Full name is Madison Rose Murtland…is the daughter of Bruce and Alicia Klingensmith...majoring in exploratory studies.
