2012-13 (R-Junior): Achieved four PSAC place-winning performances and set personal bests in her primary events during her third full season with the Raiders…placed seventh in the indoor 60-meter hurdles and fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at the PSAC Championships…took seventh place in the long jump at the PSAC Indoor Championships and fifth at the PSAC Outdoor Championships…served as SU’s team pace-setter both indoors and outdoors in the long jump…established a new personal outdoor best in the long jump at the Paul Kaiser Classic…ran a new collegiate best in the 100-meter hurdles at the PSAC Championships.

2011-12 (R-Sophomore): Notched two conference place-winning times in her second season…placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season and eighth in the 100-meter hurdles during the outdoor season with the Raiders…established a new PR in the long jump with an 18-foot leap at the Paul Kaiser Classic…competed in the long jump at the PSAC Championships.

2010-11 (R-Freshman): Impressed during her debut season with the Raiders…achieved two PSAC place-winning performances at the indoor conference meet…placed fifth in the long jump and sixth in the 60-meter hurdles at the PSAC indoor meet…established her outdoor PR in the 100-meter hurdles at the Paul Kaiser Classic from Seth Grove Stadium and with a wind-aided effort at the PSAC Championships…qualified outdoors in the 100 hurdles and the long jump.

2009-10 (Freshman): Attended Lackawanna College for one semester before transferring to Shippensburg…completed a redshirt season.

Western Wayne High School: Totaled 11 varsity letters with the Wildcats under coach Justin Collins…named the 2008 and 2009 Western Wayne Female Athlete of the Year…three-time district champion in 100-meter hurdles…selected to the 2009 Times-Tribune and 2008 Scranton Times All-Region track & field squads for her work in the hurdles…finished as a semifinalist at the PIAA state championships as a senior and as a sophomore…was victorious in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2009 Keystone State Games…honored on multiple occasions as a Lackawanna League All Star…named to numerous Elite squads by PennTrackXC and milesplit.us…won a league championship in the long jump as a junior…chosen as her school’s Track MVP/Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and junior…set a school record in the pole vault during her sophomore season…qualified for the PIAA state meet as a freshman with her school’s 4x100-meter relay squad…graduated as an honor roll student…also participated in soccer, gymnastics, cross country and cheerleading.

Personal: Full name is Lyndsay Alicia Barna…is the daughter of Dave and Gail Barna…graduated in May 2013 with a degree in communication/journalism and an emphasis in electronic media…seeking a master’s degree in communications studies.
