Tuscola High School: Lydia started running Cross Country and Track her junior year. Her junior year, she received the Coach's Award in both Cross Country and Track. During her senior year of Cross Country, she joined Fast Twitch Track Club (FTTC) and was coached by Randy Ashley out of Asheville, NC. She became an All-Conference and All-Regional runner and competed at State with her team. During Track, she was on the AAA Champion 4x8 team and placed 2nd in the 3200m, advancing to State and placing 10th.
Personal: Lydia is a Biology major with the intention of becoming a Physical Therapist. She is the daughter of Brian and Shawn Cagle. She also has a younger brother, Luke.
