2009-10 (Sophomore): Emerged as a multis competitor for Shippensburg in her second season with the team…set new career marks in the pentathlon and the heptathlon…thrived in the high jump…finished fourth at the PSAC outdoor meet and tied for seventh place at the PSAC indoor meet.
2008-09 (Freshman): Participated in 10 events for the Lady Raiders in her debut season…established career bests in the 800 and the indoor pentathlon…also ran the 55-meter hurdles…competed in the high jump and the long jump.
2007-08 (Freshman): Attended Susquehanna University.
Spring-Ford High School: Totaled four letters with the Rams under the direction of coach Ken DeAngelo…graduated 17th in her class…also played basketball and ran cross country.
Personal: Full name is Jessica K. Yates…is the daughter of Mike and Tammy Yates…majoring in mathematics/secondary education…has a sister, Meagan, who plays soccer and basketball in addition to running track.
