2016 (Freshman): Helm made her debut in the Heptathlon, placing 8^th at her first Indoor PSAC Track and Field Championship. Also placing 7^th at the Outdoor PSAC Track and Field Championship.
Greencastle-Antrim High School: Helm totaled 4 varsity letter with the Blue Devils under a group of coaches that include Devin McCauley (Head Coach/Sprints), Frank Klink (Long Jump), and Adam Richey (High Jump/Hurdles). She finished her Senior season competing in 3 events at the District 3 Championships, High Jump, Triple Jump and Hurdles; placing 7^th in the High Jump. She recorded 16.2 in the 100m Hurdles, 16’0” in Long Jump, 5’3” in High Jump and 35’3” in triple Jump. Helm graduated Summa Cum Laude in the Top 7 percent of her class with a 4.025 weighted GPA. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and held the position of Treasurer for her 2016 graduating class.
Personal: Erica Kathleen Helm is the daughter of John and Michele Helm. Academically, Helm is a member of Shippensburg’s Honors college. She is majoring in Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Business. Sister of Collin Sanders, Allisa Sanders, Rachael Bowman and John Helm.
