2014 (Freshmen): Reese competed in 5 regular season races during the cross country season. In indoor track she competed in the mile and 3k. Qualifying for the PSAC Indoor Championships in the 3k. Reese was also a part of the Distance Medley running the 1200m leg and placing 5th. During outdoor track she competed and qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 1500m and 3k steeple. Reese placed 7th in the 3k Steeplechase with a time of 11:37.
2015(Sophomore): During the cross country season Reese was a main scorer for the raiders. She became Second-Team All-Conference at the PSAC Championships placing 23rd. Furthering her success, she placed 22nd at Regionals with a personal best of 21:52 for 6k and making her All-Regional, advancing with her team to the DII National Championships. Indoor track she competed in the 3k and Mile and qualifying for the PSAC indoor championships. Outdoor track she ran the 5k and qualified for the outdoor championships with a personal best of 17:45. Academically, she was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country squad.
Lower Dauphin High School: Reese earned 6 varsity letters for the falcons. She was part of the cross country squad who qualified and ran for the PIAA State Championships ‘AAA’ for the first time in state history as a freshman. She became All-Conference Runner Senior year. Reese also was a part of the Indoor and Outdoor track team.
Personal: Caitlyn Reese is the daughter of Jeff and Dawn Reese. She is majoring in sociology. Caitlyn has three sisters, Emily, Lindsay and Jillian.
