2020 Indoor: Competed in two meets for the Raiders, running both 3K and 5K over the course of the year…ran a season best in the 3K at Kutztown and a season best in the 5K at Susquehanna.
 
2019 Cross Country: Competed in five races for the Raiders…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships, serving as the team’s No. 10 runner…ran four times at 6K and once at 4K…served as the team’s No. 7 runner at the Paul Short Run…achieved a new 6K PR at Lock Haven (25:30).
 
2019 Outdoor: Served as a mid-distance runner for the Raiders in her first outdoor season…achieved season bests in the 800 and 1,500 meters at the SU Midweek Invitational…competed in four meets.
 
2019 Indoor: Competed in two meets for the Raiders in her second season…ran the 1,000 meters and mile at Kutztown and the 3K at Susquehanna.
 
2018 Cross Country: Ran in four races during her second season…shattered her previous 6K personal best by more than 90 seconds with a time of 25:35 and a 20th-place finish at the Dickinson Long Invitational…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships…competed three times at 6K and once at 4K.
 
2018 Outdoor: Redshirt season.
 
2018 Indoor: Represented the Raiders in two meets during her debut season…competed twice in the 3K, achieving a season best at the Bison Open (Bucknell).
 
2017 Cross Country: Competed in three races in her debut season…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships with a season-best 6K time of 27:28…debuted at 6K at KU’s Division II Challenge (27:35)…posted a 4K time of 17:11 in the Piper Alumni Challenge.
 
Shippensburg Area Senior High School: Amassed eight varsity letters with the Greyhounds, four each in cross country and track & field, competing for coaches Stan Line, Nicole Sunderland and Michael Sassin…served as a four-year team captain…was a three-time recipient of the Charles R. Hatman Award…selected as the SASD M&T Bank John Travers Nominee as a senior…received the Fackler-Hower Sportsmanship Award and the Jerry Brooks Award of Academic Excellence Award as a senior…designated as a Mid-Penn Conference Scholar-Athlete…was a four-year honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society…ranked 27th in her graduating class and compiled a 3.85 GPA.
 
Personal: Full name is Ava Louise Franklin…is the daughter of Scott and Holly Franklin ’90…majoring in sustainability, concentrating in environmental conservation, while seeking a minor in public administration and pursuing a certificate in geographic information systems…has a younger sister, Hannah.
