Track & Field
 
2022 Outdoor: Competed in the 5K at the Paul Kaiser Classic in her lone meet of the season.
 
2022 Indoor: Competed in three meets during the season…established new collegiate indoor bests in the 3K at the Bucknell Tune-Up and in the 5K at the Plex Shootout at Alvernia.
 
2021 Outdoor: Debuted as an outdoor distance runner…achieved a season best in the 5K at the Paul Kaiser Classic and in the 10K at Messiah…competed in three meets.
 
2021 Indoor: No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2020 Outdoor: No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2020 Indoor: Represented the Raiders in the 3K and the 5K during her debut season…ran a season best in the 3K at Kutztown and in the 5K at Susquehanna…competed in three meets.
 
Cross Country

2021 (Sophomore): Competed in five of the team’s six races during her third cross country season…served as the team’s No. 5 scoring runner at the Division II Challenge…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 7 runner…was the team’s No. 6 runner in the Brown race at the Paul Short Invitational.  
 
2020 (Sophomore): Ran in all three of the team’s races during an abbreviated season held in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 7 runner…finished as the team’s No. 6 runner at the LHU Winter Invite and at the SU Winter Invite…posted a Top 20 finish at the SU Invite.
 
2019 (Freshman): Competed in four races in her debut season…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships as the team’s No. 9 runner…achieved a season best in the 6K at the Paul Short Run.

Emmaus High School: Totaled six varsity letters spanning cross country and track & field for the Hornets under coaches Kelly Bracetty, Kami Reinhard and Eileen Shovlin…qualified for the PIAA District XI Championships in the 3,200 meters as a senior…contributed to a cross country team that qualified for the District XI Championships…selected to the Principal’s Honor Roll in every single marking period…was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society…graduated with a 4.1529 weighted GPA.
 
About LaVana: Full name is Amanda Rose LaVana…is the daughter of Paul and Denise LaVana...majoring in special education and early childhood education…has two sisters: Alexis and Elizabeth.
