2009 (Junior): In her third season, Hollenshead competed in six races and was among the team’s Top 7 runners in the final three races of the season. She placed second at the Battle for the Buggy to pace Shippensburg. At the Paul Short Invitational, Hollenshead served as the team’s No. 6 runner. Her best race of the season came at the regional meet where she finished in 22:59 as the team’s No. 5 runner. She was a Top 50 finisher at the PSAC Championships and was the team’s No. 7 runner at the national championships.
2008 (Sophomore): Hollenshead made her debut with the SU women’s cross country program and quickly became one of the team’s top runners, scoring in several meets throughout the season. She posted an SU personal-best time at the conference meet, placing 28th in 22:36, while finishing in 22nd place at the Atlantic Regional. Hollenshead was among the team’s top-five runners in each of the postseason meets for Shippensburg as well as the Penn State National Invitational.
2007 (Freshman): Hollenshead was an All-American for Hagerstown Community College after finishing in 14th place at the National Junior College Athletic Association Women’s Cross Country Championships with a time of 17:58.21 that bested her closest teammate by nearly two full minutes.
James Buchanan High School: Hollenshead posted strong efforts at the PIAA State Championships in her final high school season. She posted a personal best time in the 3,200-meters of 11:24 that placed her fourth in District 3 Class AA. Hollenshead’s personal best in the 5,000 is 19:13 which earned her fourth place at the Carlisle Invitational.
