2007 (as a junior): Gormley competed in indoor track for the first time in her career and posted a top time of 2:36.29 in the 800-meter event at the Bucknell Winter Classic and a top time in the 1-mile of 5:50.89 at the same event. In the outdoor season, Gormley ran the 800 in 2:22.90 at the Paul Kaiser Classic.

At Radnor High School: Gormley had never run competitively until arriving at Shippensburg. She was a standout field hockey player for Radnor.
