2009 (Junior): In her third season, Huber was once again a vital member of the squad. Huber served as the team's No. 3 runner at both the PSAC meet (17th place) and the regional meet (24th place) despite battling illness late in the year. It is the third-straight year that Huber has earned All-PSAC accolades. She started the season strong, particularly with a second-place finish in the 4K Mountaineer Invitational with a PR of 14:05. At the Gettysburg meet, Huber finished seventh overall as SU’s No. 1 runner. She was the team’s No. 3 runner at the Paul Short Invitational with a season-best 6K time of 22:33. Huber finished the year as the team’s No. 6 runner at the national championships. She was also selected to the 2009 USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic squad. In track, Huber earned her first individual All-American award with an eighth-place finish in the 1,500 meters after earning her third consecutive All-American award with the DMR squad during the indoor season.

2008 (Sophomore):
Huber continued her already strong cross country career at Shippensburg by serving as the team’s third-fastest runner and recording solid performances in all of her meets. She finished as an All-Atlantic Region runner with a 13th-place finish while also earning All-PSAC accolades by crossing the tape in 12th place at the conference meet. Huber earned 57th place at the NCAA Division II Championships and also recorded a solid time of 22:15 at the Paul Short Invitational. Her fastest 4K time came in the Dickinson Invitational, where she recorded a time of 14:45, an improvement of 15 seconds from her freshman season. She was a Top 10 overall finisher in the first three meets of the season. During track season, Huber was a member of the team’s DMR squad that won a Division II National Championship.

2007 (Freshman):
Huber became a dominant collegiate runner in no time flat, leading the Lady Raiders in all seven of the meets in which she competed and posting six top-ten finishes as the PSAC Cross Country Rookie of the Year. She earned All-East Region honors with the team’s top finish at regionals, a 12th-place turn in 22:13. Huber also led the way at the PSAC Championships, finishing seventh with a time of 24:18. She finished second at the NYU Invitational, completing the 5K course in 19:22, and her fastest 4K time was at the Elizabethtown Invitational with a third-place finish in 15:01. Huber’s other top-ten finishes included a fourth-place effort at the Alumni Open, a fifth-place time at the Brooks Paul Short Run, and a seventh-place finish at the Dickinson Invitational. In the track season, Huber served as the leadoff runner for the 1200-meter leg on the All-American Distance Medley relay team.

Cumberland Valley High School:
Huber completed a phenomenal senior season for Cumberland Valley by winning the PIAA District 3 AAA Outdoor Championship for the 800-meters with a time of 2:14.52, only to record her personal-best time one week later at the PIAA State Championships with a time of 2:13.28 for a fifth-place finish. She recorded a third-place finish at the 2007 PTFCA Indoor State Cham¬pionships with a time of 2:14.87 and was a member of the first-place 800-meter relay teams for the indoor and outdoor season.

Personal: Abigail M. Huber is the daughter of William and Cindy Huber. She is majoring in history while seeking social studies teaching certification.
